November fifth... BFFTLE'S

Today was a cleaning (messing) up the room day, and I had a thought as I was yelling upsetly whispering (more like a terrifying batman voice) to my kiddos that then made me cringe. Here was the thought:

I wish they weren't such good friends, then they might get some work done.

What an AWFUL thought! The truth is I LOVE that my kids are best friends. I love that they love being with each other and playing with each other, reading to each other (mostly Leigha to Conner). I love that they love dancing and singing with each other. I love that they teach each other things and hug each other and are pretty much inseparable.

(this is seriously how they walk with each other most of the time... too cute huh?)

In fact the only times I don't love that my kids are best friends are cleaning times, bed times, shopping times, and long car trip times. But I KNOW that those things would be much harder if they did not love each other so much.

Growing up I was not friends with my siblings... AT ALL (it is amazing all 4 of us made it to adulthood with all our limbs, wait let me rephrase, most of our limbs)! Now we are best friends (most of the time) and I know that being friends is A LOT better than being enemies, or even just siblings.

So needless to say,

Day #5: I am grateful that Leigha and Conner are BFFTLE's (as Leigha always says... it stands for: best friends forever to last eternity) even if it means their room is a mess.
